On the fishing front. Bsically, A. had more fish on the line in 2 days than me fishing for 3 tries. He is younger and fished at times that I don't normally fish .... still, makes you wonder what is the difference.
Ah, maybe, a combination of factors.
I fish less time.
In summer, I try to stay out for 2 - 3 h and then head for home. I mean its no use beating myself up and coming in w/ heat stress. Truth be told, even at 2 - 3 h, I feel the heat.
Well, no use ' flogging a dead horse ' [ hope, I don't mean that I'm a dead horse ]. I'm still lucky to get out there

The weather is indeterminate. Drizzle ? Cloudy and dim out there. We got the windows open to enjoy the 60 something temperature out there.
Plus, this is a holiday weekend, all quiet on the street - almost eerie !

Thus, opened the front bedroom windows - and - there were stems right outside the  window - yes, the wildflowers are part of the street view.

Canada wins Womens World Championship. I'd like to say that we watched -no - couldn't take the nail biter - 2 - 1 for a period and the U.S. was pressing the whole time. Plus, U.S. pulled their goalie w/ 1:40 min left

Thoughts :

when is it time to back off ?
as you know, I've modified my workouts. I was noting workouts of 72 - 77 min, lets say, 2 months ago. Lately. though, the log has seen times of 50 - 60 min. 
Now, mind, I'm still sweating up a storm. My theory is that a good sweat [ not nervous or scared ] clears out your pores - pumps up your heart etc.

Also, chores. As of the past 3 months, I've sort of let some items slide
and in all  this, its remembering my father hustling around the house at 70 y.o. GUILT ? as in mega !

But as M points out [ graciously and sternly ] I am not my dad

Prime video had a series called ' Night Sky' and one episode had a 70 ish couple pondering selling the family home [ downsizing ] and even considering a Nursing Home. I found it gruesome watching.... maybe gruesome isn't the right term - unsettling ???

I reported on ' Zombie Ice ', it seems that not only do I not know the population of Toronto - I mis - reported the 'Zombie ' situation.
" Zombie ice " is that portion of the Greenland glacier that WILL melt. Atmospheric conditions, right now, guarantee the melt.

This chunk of ice is 3.3 % of the glaciation of Greenland. AND the rise in sea level is not centimetres but estimated at 10 inches [ thats 25.4 cm ] Sorry, folks. Thus, it apppears that Las Vegas is closer to becoming beachfront real estate

Our day slipped away. We did chores. Not many. It seems however, those little jobs that we do together take time

All right. We booked two trips - one for two weeks
then a 2023 trip to the UK.

I am coming to the time of year, when traditionally, I have trouble finding bass. Now, its hard to imagine, that my season could get less productive than so far. I mean really. This summer has been poor to poorer

Overall, the sentiment is that Rice L gets tremendouf fishing pressure. Access is easy and w/in 1  1/2 h or Metro Toronto and 4 million people.
I don't keep many fish but I am in the minority by a lot
