Dy2 eddy-toon

Took the city tour, our guide was young and spoke English, tres funny aussi. G tried to tailor the monologue to the passengers. Susan Boyle got top nod as famous.
Lunch at Deacon Brodies Tavern in the Royal Mile
Tried a Pimm's royale, #1 Pimms and sparkling something - expensive but daring.
Meal was a salad , prawn and chorizo - loved it. M had sheperds pie - vg.

Dinner.....We basically ate out of the Co-op which is a variety store + food basics. The egg / sausage sandwich ( very fresh ) was 1 Pd. Cheese and crackers featured tasty mature cheddar and big Ritz crackers.

BTW - the telephone / TV / chloroform and grave robbing are Scottish inventions but they're not so keen on claiming the latter one.

While waiting for M outside a British Home Shop, the skirl of the pipes floated down Princes St
- ah, the sound of the glens, the 'eart of Loch Lomond. " Camptown Races / Oh Susannah / Marine Corps Hymn " swam out of the construction noise
