🎋 the fifth of the seventh .....

🎋....... or hello from the ' boro. Leacock peeps a shout out !

coffee , tea and typing ... from the window seat. we see gloom and rain is due. long bouts for 24 h. reporting a quiet Sunday

Breakfast was tea and rice, went to AL and asked for ' ochuskei ' and got corrected mega !!!!

Ochazuke is a traditional Japanese comfort food consisting of cooked rice partially submerged in hot green tea, dashi, or broth, and topped with savory ingredients. It is an incredibly fast, customizable, and light meal commonly enjoyed as a late-night snack, a hangover remedy, or a quick breakfast "

all is good but the savory part - b /c not knowing any better ... I had rice / tea in fact, this morning, I used Irish Breakfast from Twinings c.f. Tetley s Orange Pekoe from Costco [ 1000 bags per container ] Irish is better, deeper flavour but not 1 000 bags for $ 20.

I am experimenting w / lighting. In the upper hall, the ceiling pot lights are variable bulbs and some are on their last legs. We need light in the hall. BUT why or how important are the O / H lights. I recently, took down fake accent lighting from the living room. Basically, small spot lights like sconces [ slightly uglier ].
Hooked to a timer, I hoped, light aimed down the floor from a small table s platform would provide good visiblilty. The tiler has an app and I can control the off / on via phone.
