awake early for a run to the  Q'. certes, more to follow. Pleased to report that the launch procedure had a minor hiccup. The boat balked 1 / 3 of the way d won [ not in the water ]. However, A .. decided to lift the bow and it slid the rest of the way

Resutls were one largemouth and one small mouth [ not big but decent ] and a pike about 10 or 11

Alrighty. This is week 2 of grow the grass. I chose a drought resistant sun tolerant mix of tall fescue and rye. The site was a shambles of thatch and bare ground. The previous seeding did work but was devastated by blasting sun and little water.
Now, you are supposed to rake and smooth etc. My motto ' its grass '
i.e. it will grow. die.  grow. 
As advised on purchase, this blend will need some longer than others. Yes. However, we are gaining ground [ losing ground really, b / c its now grassed ]
So, when your life comes down to growing grass. OMG

Overall, to survive in this house, you better be tough or resilient.

alright. alright. a little patriotic. and when you have no originality !

OK. went fishing over the Sunday - Monday hrs. Actually, anticipation was a bit low. the bass boat jammed a few times the previous weekend. the boys came loaded w / concrete pads and bases [ in case ]. 
Well, F .. jumped in and eyeballed a new levelling for the stone supports. Gave it a go and w / a little reluctance. Success.

And more success. the morning launch on Moday, required a little ' English ' F .. rocked the boat when it got stuck. And down she went smoothly.
Obviously, a new technique and not exactly, proscribed anywhere. Well, what works - works

As in the past few trips, where to start was an immediate quandary. When you are having low success, a good start seems even more important.
Going back to the well. Over the last bit, a section called Jubilee Channel [ very deep and wood lined ] seemed to have a few fish.
We moved to the South side and gave it a go. What a Go ! Three largemouth bass in fifteen minutes plus many panfish. Later we move Westward and found panfish galore and some bass.

Something about ' success is counted sweetest
                              by those who ne'er succeed ..... ' or struggle a bit.
