Someone Cares

OK. Toronto, the 4 th largest city in NA. The margin is the 84,000 extra people over the last census.
Well we (T.O. ) got raked over the coals on this one. A Chicago writer was asked to respond by his paper. He points out that T.O. 's skyline is nothing c.f. Chicago's. Culture, food and general urbanism is lacking in T.O.
Readers here in T.O. were chagrined at the put down. Not me, cuz if we were nasty we could point out that basic underwear in chicky is kevlar.

Weather is marvelous, being sunny and bright. Weatherboy needs to lighten up a tad b/c he still is kitted out coat, scarf and toque. Now maybe he is wise in maintaining an outer shell b/c the wind can still be very cold this time of year.

We watched  '  Homeland ' which is a presidential favourite. Intense to say the least but it is the first and of course, needs to grab your attention. The girl agent is a bit frightening. She will be proven right to make all my angst futile.

Our 50 in. TV is somewhere close to here awaiting shipment out to our door. We have a tracking # and can see where it is - sitting. The TV started in Brantford and made the edge of the city Wed night late.
In anticipation of delivery, I'm planning the transfer of the 46 " TV to - we don't know and replacing it w/ the 50. Should be simple.

I'm making another push for the movie ' Sky Captain and the World of To-morrow '. SCWT features Jude Law and Gwynneth Paltrow.
The movie is computer graphics except for the bits where JL and gP stood against or in a blue background.
The story line is in the future slightly but the look is 1940 s serial age. The villain wants to re-seed the world but first he cleanses the world of humans and actually everything else too.
Robots and techie type stuff abounds. I loved this from the moment that I saw SCWT at Sears , the dept store, electronics section.

To-day looks to be a make work day in that I'm going to try and get out and look busy. I'll try, anyway.
