We took delivery of the Sony Bravia 50 ". Nominally, thats how we describe the TV.
However, amazing picture is how we should talk about it. This Sony is about 3 generations removed from our ' old ' Sony 46 ".
The fifty has a higher refresh rate but HD and BluRay are distinct on this fifty. Much greater depth.
The HD channels always looked crisper than regular broadcast. But watching even police type shows in HD, there is depth there that we've never noticed before.
We've read the instructions but this TV can do so much - its internet ready and we're not. Fifty can get Netflix wirelessly, we can hook up a computer ( maybe, our TV stand has a post and bracket that blocks some of the input / outputs, I broke an HDMI cable playing around trying to get the plug in, crap another $50 )
Oh, we used ' AirMiles ' all in TV, tax and delivery. Love that ' all in' no little this and that - all in. Beuti.

Change the weather, please Chris ( Chris Hadfield ). Weatherboy is fully dressed - we are 35 F but dreary. The look is ' expect snow ' Definitely,not spring.
