And I forgot, a miracle happened on Thur. Running home ( throttled back, naturelement ) my cap blew off. This cap has the name ' Stratos ' stitched on. I back tracked right down the wake, eased up on the speed - there it was floating. So what, you say. Ever tried to back track on your wake ? There was a chop on the water, enough to more than ripple the water. We've tried before and success doesn't happen very frequently. I lost my Tilley, and its beige and we couldn't spot it. As well , a Tilley floats. Dada, success.
Last night on PRI, they discussed the phenomenon that is ' Fifty Shades of Grey '.
Experts commented on a) the need for salacious reading, that everyone is reading, so you don't need to hide your bookcover
b) publishing ethos, flog it when you've got it ( cute, eh ? )
c) ' 50 ' is not well written.
I decided my book, would be called ' 43 Tones of Beige '. The title would indicate, the blandness of the story, my hat colour and ' 43 ' means it could be a shorter book. I'd get the same money, wouldn't I ?
' 50 ' has sold 40 million copies.
We have a cool day w/ the chance of rain. The sun tried to shove through but no go.Pretty much fall up here.
Colours are building but I'd say the change is about 40 %. Some trees went red and yellow three weeks ago but overall its greeny more than anything.
P.S. Natalie Portman is the October cover girl on the ' Thor ' calendar over the computer. Neat, eh ?
