Movie Review ' Station Agent '

On TVO, public television Ont, they showed the 'Station Agent '. A small person , he says that he's not a midget, so I guess dwarf, loses a close friend and boss. The boss wills a plot of land in Newfoundland, N.J. to Phin.

The land Phin inherits includes a railway depot building, the station of ' Newfoundland '.
Phin a solitary sort, runs into or is run into by a trio of characters. Olivia has lost her child and is estranged from her husband. Joe runs his father's hot dog wagon and Emily is pregnant and the librarian.
No sex, no violence and some kissing, definitely atypical modern.
Watched the whole thing, and thought for $ 4 that I'd buy the DVD. But thats about it.

Day is sunny and cool but very very, nice.
Rain is over for now but I think precipitation is still a possibility.

The printer story. Yesterday, I got one printer going, the 'all in one ' which is good. The bad, the other printers need IP addresses which need to be searched for and not by me.
So, A. is coming over, and we will switch connections so that a router distributes the signal instead of a ' base station '. Then, we hook up two other printers. Dada and Bob's your uncle.

Time  4PM
Back from printing wars. The good - 1 more printer on line. We eliminated a hub and went with the Airport Expr Base station. Unfortunately, the AEBS won't recognize a third printer. This work took another 3 h.

Originally, four months ago, 3 printers ran through a Mac desktop, wirelessly connected to a Mac laptop. Then, a printer was changed out, and no printing happened.
I've been involved since then attempting to get a solution for the 3 printer dilemma.
As well it would appear that the Mac desktop has crashed.

The set-up is a Mac laptop wirelessly running an Apple AEBS connected to 2 printers. We managed to eliminate a computer and hub in between the hardware items.
But only 2 printers are live.

We found the problem almost by accident. I suggested checking ' Network ' folder and found the ' printer share ' button active. since we weren't print sharing any more, it was re-directing the signal to the ether.

One step forward, 1/2 step back.

Is this another case of sporadic rewards ?
