and October is sliding away .....
I'm prepping for a ' put the bass boat away day '. Luckily the boat does not move. Its home is the boathouse - year round.
That being said, very little can be left for the late fall, winter and spring.
MICE [ and squirrels it seems ]. The critters run everywhere
Eat into everything. Rope, cloth, plastic and insulation. In that vein, I purchased mouse bait this morning.
Last year, I was not there for ' open the boathouse day '. The guys found a dead mummified squirrel that had the evidence in his paws - yes, mouse bait.
BTW, the squirrels also eat into anything left.
Day clouded over and dimmed the view
the list : lifejackets ,fishing gear, boat accessories .....
Yes. in previous years, I have found shreds of plastic bag, nests made of rope. Tarpaulins that could double a mesh netting material.
Everything is taken inside
