Let s Postpone Hallow - Weenie Time

for real.

The urban area of Montreal, did postpone Hallow - Weenie time to Fri NO 1. There were safety concerns re : rain and wind.

Is this legal ? The case is before the courts.

And yes, we rain and dark skies

Yesterday, was help w/ the cottage day. We vacuumed gutters and drained outside hoses and spigots. then watched 1 1/2 h of crap on TV via computer. It was dismal out there.

WE have Halloween b/c little people came and are coming.

This is the advert for Blogger < Gmail >

" In the Early Morning ........

rain
by Gordon Lightfoot

w/ no place to go " And its true

The day is grey and dreary. I'm off the the old cottage w/ the new owners - fall clean up and inspect.
The heat and water stay on. Thus, its leaves and such
if we're lucky b/c there is a good chance that something needs fixing. Always
A constant of cottage life
home ownership
broken is guaranteed
there should be a label - " Expect Breakage "

In fact, I'm believing that if its built non - dissectible - somebody goofed or was too cheap

To wit, in my shower, there is no access to the water pipes. the plumber guy already knocked a hole in the ceiling < since re - covered as best as possible > to reach an inevitable  ' eddy corrosion ' hole
The plumber knew before he went up there - just a matter of where
He knew !
See !
When pipes are elbowed the water swirls and creates an erosion of the metal - leading to a hole
Small, then big then water comes out onto your shower - yes, the leak was through the ceiling onto the shower itself.
But only b/c that was the low point. Obviously water was flowing all over but coming out at the shower light
Yeah, I was really cool about that
Water - electricity and me under that
whoopee ! A jolt in the morning w/ your java

And it seems w/ a little thought structures and devices could repairable or at least accessible

Wettish

full cloud cover

Alright

The day is not as bad as I originally foresaw

There seems to be some light coming down. Predicted high is up around 65 F. But not quite shorts weather. but Sunday was similar and guys were out in shorts

Thus, I'll venture out. Noodles is the top of my list.
Called pho in Vietnamese or yakka mein in Chinese
Soba in Japanese
I had what is labelled ' noodle soup w/ beef brisket ' at ' Yogi s Noodles ' in the Chartwell Food Court.
The only people who know of its existence are Asian esp Chinese. You see, its at the back of the plaza in a separate building

In Japanese culture, they say the dashi < read soup base > is everything in noodle soup. Yogi s still has the better of a whole slew of rivals.
The price was $ 5.50 and I could have had two.
That good.

Brisket is somewhat of a misleading term. Oh, I'm sure its brisket but I swear that I saw vein and sinew
Oh well, its all part of the mystique
Yes, mystery food, always a non starter in conversation

Jobs got done today. I re - wired the under porch where a persistent robin has managed for 5 yrs to circumvent / overlap and in all ways defeat my anti - robin s nest ' Maginot Line ' ala WWI. ML didn't work and neither did my robin proofing
Thus, once more into the breach and I ............. well re - wired the netting.
Oh, she just built on top of the netting, this year. Biggest nest ever.

The house next door is vacant and has been for 2 yrs. A legal battle is ongoing.
I put up a fence, low, to keep the late fall leaves from cascading into my yard from that property

I vacuumed the truck out. Biggest culprit ..... Me.
Cookie crumbs or I hope that those were cookie leavings. Anything else and I'd panic, for sure

At Canadian Tire < Walmart but way more car stuff >
I found solar powered flood lights on sale for half price. That means they are priced at what they're worth. Solar powered means that they could last 2 years...... maybe. However, these suckers are getting better ever generation.
I'm getting ready for Hollow - Weenies night. Adding a little colour. Alright, the floods are red and green but colour is good.

Actually, the coach lamps on the porch are red and green to begin w/. Thus, red and green floods - not bad.
No one has yet figured out that the red and green are the running light colours for a boat. My pet phrase is   ' red right going home '. That means going home or upriver, keep the red light or buoy on your right.
So, if you are walking to the house - going home - red is on your right
My house doesn't float but it did flood so I forgive anyone who hasn't got it figured out.
M just assumes that its one of my quirky ideas
one of many
many, many

" 40 " in the Six

thats the back deck temperature, 8 AM

More or less the overnight temperature
Not bad

Toronto the Good is the moniker that they like to use in describing our City
However, the suburban mayors of outlying cities are calling for complete coverage by closed Circuit TV s for the commuter 400 series or ' I - series ' in American parlance
A spate of shootings, right on the highway have gone uninvestigated b/c there is literally no place to start. Witnesses refuse to help and random passerbys w/ car cams are rare.

So, we are good for CCTV

Sun is bursting out and temperatures are 60 F s and light wind
but that wind is cool

Sunday 27 October 2019

the ' Six ' Report

kind of catchy, the title

The topic is Netflix. I've mentioned that there is a plethora of useless or low grade movies on offer.
However, I'm exercising 6 days a week   < 3 days on and one off day >
Last night, I started into season 2 of the ' Kominsky Method '. An older actor Michael Douglas has turned to teaching acting. His long time friend, Alan Arkin, is a successful and more or less wealthy agent.
A cast of supporting actors - more or less well known.

The truth is - you'd better like Michael Douglas as Michael Douglas < or Sandy Kominsky > and Alan Arkin as Alan Arkin < or Norman .......... >.

But overall, this sitcom ( ? ) is well done. I'm chuckling pretty much all the way through each episode - which I think is pretty high praise for a cynical viewer such as I

The special weather alert is for that rain that I've mentioned except the amounts could be rather large.
Flooding etc is expected in low lying areas
Flooding happened, as in 2 vehicles in the subway w/ water up to their roof.

I've been surfing YouTube, the tune that I repeatedly play is ' the Love Theme ' from Cinema Paradiso '.
I prefer the tune w/out words.
Anyway, one of my favourite versions is the ' Cinema Paradiso Suite ' or ' Suite from Nuevo Cinema Paradiso ' by Japanese guitarist Kaori Muraji. Love it to bits.
Then I was reading the comments and someone writes ' too bad its not in the original key as in the movie '
Duh, I didn't know
But another guitarist, Sato Takahashi, does play          ' Cinema Paradiso ' in a different key
And yes, it is the same as in the original score
Doesn't matter but kinda bothers me that I didn't pick up on the difference

Saturday 26 October 2019

10/26 in the ' Six '

the ' Six ' ?
The numeric representation for Toronto started w/ a rap song < ??? > by Drake.
Drake is a local rapper and humongous Raptor fan.
B/c the major area code is - 416 - the song talked about the ' Six '

The ' Six ' is fine. Damp feeling day w/ sun but big rain is due.

Well, all fishing equipment slightly put away.  A little more sorting and finicky stuff to do.
I put the engine instructions in w/ the licence and insurance thats kept in the boat.

And the rain came and will stay for tomorrow at least
Said to be a downpour

Friday 25 October 2019

Beep

and it was dark

Beep
Beep

The alarm pad sounded off every 40 seconds
Low battery
The alarm company used to send a guy
Now, they ship the battery

When we got it installed, the salesman offered batteries for life on a wireless system.
I was skeptical. I'm still skeptical and its been 20 years.
Yepper, I call ( now ) and they find the third page screen < terms of contract > and they send the battery.

Friends said ' wait til you have to pay for the batteries, it'll cost you a fortune '
Still waiting

OK, call ADT - whoopee  ' yes your motion detector needs a new battery. you need technical support, I'm monitoring '

Call Tech support: ' can you tell me the battery size '
ME : no
Them: can you take off the cover

4 minutes

ME: no

Them: oh

ME: I'll YouTube it

watch the video

Call back
Them: Thank you the batteries are on order

Sheesh !

but I learned how technicians coil electrical cords
called  ' over and under '
no kinks
no damage to the wire strands inside the cable

YouTube or DIY gone mad

On Netflix, I'm watching way too much but what else do I do while ellipticking and free weights for 44 min.

Point is that I'm watching crap TV or whatever its called.

The latest is " Justice League - Superman Returns " as from the dead.
DC studios cannot equal Marvel when it comes to spandex and action

The highlights, well of course, Gal Gadot as a reluctant super - hero. Armoured babe w/ ' legs for days '
: apologies :
I stole the comment from watching an Ann Reinking video < she's got legs like in legs galore >
However, got another look at Connie Nielson in gold armour < Wonder Woman's mommy, an OMG mommy >. Hubba , bubba and all that !

Basically, the whole movie could be Hippolyta ( thats CN s name as Queen of the Amazons < and she is       ' Amazon Prime ' > )
and Wonder Woman
riding horses
tossing spears
and standing in front of the camera
AND
you wouldn't have needed all that Aquaman < did you know he kinda flies >, Batman, Flash - boy and cyber naut, himself.
 And Superman ..............
Well, he does come w/ Amy Adams
and yes, she is great just standing there , as well

The World is Dark

at 5:30 AM

Cuppa tea < as we did in England for three weeks >

Read ' Woman's World '
just what I needed ' how to make candy corn at home '

The sun burst out after 7:30 AM
As is well with the world

And its dark again and its 7 PM

that was quick

Wednesday 23 October 2019

and Of Course

my scanner isn't working

I'm blaming bloody Microsoft for changing a setting in the control panel, so proprietary. Every update alters something that you counted on
Oh, ' use our scanner app '
download for free

Bugger all

Big sun today after the rain
Temperature in the 50 s and going up slightly

Glory days

Alright, I needed to submit papers to transfer records from old doctor to new
email
or fax
Email is cheaper. If your printer is working thus the scan app  < which was a looser>

Thus, at Staples for $4.50, I faxed the transfer papers over to the records management company

However, while there - A HP printer < wireless etc > was on sale reg 179 for 111 dollars.
Picked up the box
Put the box down
Picked it up and walked to the cashier
The machine displayed 99 dollars, I kept stumff

I brought it home
Hopefully, the new printer will allow wireless transmission of data - no cord to the computer

P.S.  After a whole whack of cussing and worse.
Done.
Love the process < facetious here >

Download the app and discover your new printer
Oh, you want to print
We see you are missing the printer plug in app
Yep, download that one also

Printing. Take your email and convert the email into a PDF file.
But you cant't print
Ah, now you go to printer app and select print document ( email in PDF )
Then the sucker prints

BUT it prints from anywhere that your phone or laptop is internet connected. Remote printing

While in Rome e.g. print at home < rhyming no less >

Tuesday 22 October 2019

Now.........

its cold and lonely in the deep dark night
I can see Paradise by the dash board light "

Meatloaf

Of course, w/ the dark comes the rain - all morning
Tapering off as the day wears on

The rain finally let up - maybe
B/c the streets look like they are drying

I have a new family doctor as my present or ex - doctor as of today is retiring

And I need to transfer medical records through a service
$133 Cdn

Seven Months

really !

Yep, counted on my fingers. No bass fishing for me til then

Welcome back, Ohio

OK, so now what.
Well, leaves are falling and gutters getting full. Job 1

All my fishing equipment came home. Thus, sort, clean and put away. there's 5 - 6 hours
Stuff gets rusty, older - do some minor repairs Job 2

Dream.............. dream big for next season Job 3

The outdoor water hoses need bringing in soon Job 4

Hey, hope I remember to come back and look at this post

So, yesterday. Went to winterize the engine - it self-fogs.
I forgot the instruction  booklet.
Tried by memory, that was a loser
Call home. M reads the instructions w/ everyone listening.
Nope.
Someone googles the engine winterizing
( So far, its taken 1/2 h )
Watch the video
An ' Aha ' moment dawns
got it

No kidding, it was timed
1 min 45 sec for the engine to fog itself
Dummy !   Dummy !

Why isn't the instruction booklet w/ the boat
dunno, dummy here, I guess

Weather warm and sunny but damp b/c it was misty or raining overnight

Minor success. M's key FOB for the Subaru only works close to the car. Get a coin battery 1620. Shoppers Drug Mart had the #1620 after a failure at Princess Auto and the Dollar Store.
Battery in / now we'll see if the FOB works < better >

Sorted fishing equipment and started the organizing and storage in the basement work room
Actually very little work gets done but I'm a great organizer

Sunday 20 October 2019

Winterizing the Bass Boat

yepper, high and dry
tarped and re - greased

Boo
or
Boo Hoo
Hard to say
All such adventures in life come to a close
The boat is sleeping
to awaken in 7 months

Eek ! seven...... seven months ?

this Morning

awoke to the strains of " Into the Light ' performed by the Phantom Regiment
its 6 AM - fishing day
pitch black out there

Saturday 19 October 2019

Last Night

was poker night

The format is very sane. We pay for chips. Everyone buys the same amount. If you go broke then you still get to play. If you get chips back w/ a win then you must bet those chips as before you went broke.
The most that you can lose is the initial money that you issued.
The host provides food and drink < usually costing more than you could win in the night >

Bright sunny day out there but the nights are cold.

Friday 18 October 2019

Joy = no Joy

told ya that we're getting back $3 K from an income tax refile

M says that it will nicely cover the pre -payment for next year's taxes

Oh yeah - ' say it ain't so , Joe '

Attributed to a young Chicago White Sox fan
all fiction - created by a sportswriter during the Black Sox scandal.

The day is terrific sun and blue sky
Who knew
We will warm up starting Saturday and stay warm for 5 days ( well probably 50 - 60 F ) Apparently, an Arctic trough will form as the jet stream drops well below the Great Lakes. That cold sump starts around the 26 and stays til OC end.

The story. I promised the new owners of my cottage that I would replace a fitting on the down hill water outlet. The original split ( b/c its only plastic ). I repaired the piece, took it to the cottage and lost it somewhere in the cottage. ?????
Today, I went to Home Depot and bought a new one.
On the way out, I notice a bin. Special sale ( of course it was ). $ 8 for three pry bars, as in nails etc. The smallest is 6 in long and cute, the next is 8 in and the biggie is 10 in. I wan't sure if I really needed the big one but the little guys. The smaller ones tho' infinitely handy around the work room.
Oh, my workroom. I collect tools. Don't use them all but they're there. When my father died - well, I doubled the collection.
For his birthday etc, I'd buy him a tool that I had that I thought he would need or like. Over the years, he gifted me w/ an item that I thought I liked of his.
Apparently, he bought or found replacements.
Thus, I doubled up.
And he was a a packrat just like me
OR
did I get the order wrong

Thursday 17 October 2019

Goooo...od Morning

no, its not

dark and dreary as in Edgar Allan Poe ' pondering '

" I get all the news, I need from the weather report "
a little Paul Simon lyric

Under the heading of unintended consequences, my new arrangement of pavers creates a snow removal problem. I did raise the level of the pavers in the garage corner perhaps 2 in for drainage. Last night, I wondered what this means for snow clearing
i.e. uneven surface

Well, something to ' ponder ' on

' Anti - Trump ' Boat

finally towed from Tampa Bay

" Moonraker II " a fishing boat was removed from near the Howard Frankland bridge.

The rain came on schedule and stayed and will be here for days. Different fronts but the same result.
Dreary !

See. The Zen Master was right. A water test for my new paver setting

We switched accountants. The present one was apprised of an oversight from our last return w/ the previous acct.
To be safe, accoutant ' now ' decided a quick peek at the last return from acct ' then ' was in order.
Today, accountant ' now ' re - submitted the 2017 Tax return w/ a balance due ( to us ) for $3 000 ( minus 3 dollars ) Accountant ' now ' has to charge us $300 or so in fees
Gladly we said
And we write it off next year

Tuesday 15 October 2019

Frosty Out There

roofs are glistening as the sun touches the ice

Not quite 32 F but real close overnight

Well, last fishing trip / close up is coming
In all likely hood Sunday will mark the intake of the bassboat.

The pavers are done. The last bit didn't go as well as expected. A little rugged in spots - actually several spots. However, cost was $20 and my time. When the rains come and they will

We shall see said the Zen Master

The day was halcyon. I even went and bought beer. I ran out of the Yeungling from N.Y.. Buck a beer - not here. MacClays was $ 2 a can. pale ale

Monday 14 October 2019

Thanksgiving Mon

most retail outlets are closed
but you can buy liquor and smokes

The deck thermometer had trouble reaching 44 F this morning. The weather is full fall type unsettled w/ rain coming almost every day.

For several days, I've been re - engineering the front walk.
Recall, we had a basement flood. The solution was to waterproof the outside wall. Done
But they dug up about 60 sq ft of interlock.
I waited a year for the resettling process and it did settle a fair bit.
However, putting the interlock back exactly as laid before is a costly and not altogether the best solution. The interlock near the house walls seem to sink. One place has been re-done twice.
Thus, I'm re-engineering, my way. I'm putting the pavers back but covering them w/ a black 3 x 4 ft indoor mat. Fuzzy on top and a plastic base. It may fall apart in a year but I figure the interlock is going to sink anyway < at least a bit >
I'm not doing the pattern that was there originally just lining them up neatly
This way, lift the mats and re-do the pavers.

I figure covering the area w/ mulch would cost more than the mats ( 3 mats for $30 ). The mulch will get blown away by wind and leaf blowers < lawn care dudes >
I'll fence off the area - only need is occasionally getting access to the side garage door ( mail slot is gone now - moved the front )

We shall see said the Zen Master

P.S. almost done out there and the situation is fair to good.
The pavers are almost all used. There will be some fill in places < pavers kinda shoved in > but I notice that the original guys did that anyway.
They finished to a line - say, the edge of the lawn and back set pavers - if there was a gap they filled w/ cut down pavers.
I kept all the pavers - thus I'll fill

" All Your Life

...... you were waiting
for this moment to arrive "
 the Beatles

Not quite ...................
But I cooked my first stuffed turkey
from scratch
potatoes, celery onion etc
Shoved in to the bird

Its a- cookin right now

Will let you know

Dreary day outside w/ rain this AM early

Well, my first turkey got rave reviews. We donated 1/2 of the 16 lb er to our neighbours. What were we going to do w/ all the turkey.
They were actually going to buy a small turkey for the weekend today.
All good, as they say

Friday 11 October 2019

Life what Can You Do

we cancelled Thanksgiving Dinner

Cousins and their families were coming for dinner Saturday
M was feeling poorly and we had to call it off < this morning by phone ?

Oops !  I guess

On the first day of Thanksgiving
my wife gave to me
one 15 lb turkey
3 lb of potatoes
5 heads of broccoli
3 sweet potatoes

and the makings of stuffing for 9

Ah, Saturday becomes cook a turkey day

Thursday 10 October 2019

Warm and Fuzzy

for October

A mild day w/ mostly sun is the prediction

A lovely day
very cliche but true

Not much fuzzy tho'

I'm binge watching Netflix
Really
Its sad

Wednesday 9 October 2019

cont'd Good and Bad

Thus, the outboard engine would not start yesterday AM
Now, the night was cold and we thought maybe
1. a gas line problem
2. time for a tune-up on a 10 yr old engine

It turned out that one of the electrical leads to the starting battery was not tight or torqued in.
In the afternoon, I made sure that the bolt was tight for the leads
And of course, the engine kicked over - first try

Ah, the serendipity of life

And everything hurts my finger
Oh, and the little extra from yesterday
w/ a sore right index, of course, I used my left hand a bit more while fishing
went to raise the storage locker lid on the boat and
lifted a fingernail out of its bed
Ouchy !
Yes, 2 fingers sore, one on each hand

The good and the bad ? neither hand

The mail slot works.
So, M says today ' did you close the garage door then the mailgirl can find the slot '
No
Go out and she is standing there w/ envelopes in her hand - and looking for where to put the mail
M is so good at stuff like that

Tuesday 8 October 2019

Tues is Fishing Day

the pros and cons
      ups  and downs

Bad :      I got outfished again
Good :    I caught the only walleye and largemouth bass

Bad :     The outboard would not start in the AM
Good     We fished close to home and caught fish

Bad:      The outboard motor wouldn't start in the AM
Good :   Somehow it started PM < loose connection ? >

Bad       Cut my finger on a mussel shell
Good :   nothing good about this, it hurts

Day was fine - warm and sunny s/ very little wind

P.S. the walleye came home as food
       walleye is excellent

Monday 7 October 2019

Mon Morning Coming Down

still dark
the temperature won't get to 70
but close w/ showers

Quite a pleasant day. Sun dominates w/ a stiff breeze. There is cold in the air tho'.

The sign said ' Mail slot on Garage door => ' and of course, awaiting mail . I blocked the side door access and left the sign up.

Liar ! its not " Monday Morning Coming Down  "
but
Sunday Morning Coming Down as written by Kris Kristofferson
the meaning is ' the day after a big drinking binge ' and what it feels like ' coming down '

No, I wasn't binge drinking or coming down
sounded kinda neat
as in
Monday morning coming at you

Guess that I got that wrong

Fishing tomorrow w/ a 6: 30 departure < AM ! >

Day is touted as sunny approx 60 + or -
moderate to low UV
winds light w/ gusts to 20 Kph

Now fish. I've done poorly in Sep for several years but Oct usually a bit better

We shall see said the Zen Master

Oh, go figure     < everything ready  on the garage door >
No mail today

Sunday 6 October 2019

By the By

I think thats how its spelled

On testing night for the new window in the garage side door, I waited until the automatic ceiling lights went out to observe whether I could tell if the garage door was open.
I waited a little too long. From the study I noticed the street lights through the side door window thus the garage door was up. New window < a success >    I went out to put out the garbage cans and clicked the remote to close the garage door.
A big ass raccoon comes racing out of the opening. The raccoon was so big that it stopped the door from closing b/c it blocked the sensor.
I guess ' rocky ' liked the new window too.
Rainy and cool today as a front speeds through.
Off and on light showers and 70 tomorrow.
Tues clearer and slightly cooler - fishing day.

We got some spit coming down

Saturday 5 October 2019

" life in every breath "

a line from the ' Last Samurai '

' everything that they do is always done to perfection ' paraphrased
Obviously, not me
Have you seen the side door ?

The day broke cool but should warm to 60 F
Sun up at 7:18 A and down at 6:53 P

Friday 4 October 2019

Better than They Said

wind stayed down and the sun came up

On the side door of the garage < again >
This project was move the mail slot to the garage door itself. As opposed to in the side door.
The move was based on landscaping considerations.
This switch means that keeping the area in front of the garage side door is less of an issue re: safety for the mailman. The driveway is usually cleared pretty quick.
The door is double aluminum w/ a foam liner for sound and heat. Cutting was difficult and I used up a bunch of cutting blades on the Dremel motor tool.
And of course, the job is longer b/c you don't know what to expect.
The hole needed 3 cuts b/c of small adjustments as the job progressed or didn't progress. Also, it always takes longer when you're trying not to goof up too badly. I mean its the front of the house.
The mail slot is spring loaded and that caused one of the major re-cuts and one minor one. The mechanism juts out to the side but its hard to predict just how - so you cut and then re-cut
and re-cut if you're not too bright
Duh ?

However, realizing that this door is not meant for exterior use means it should be reinforced
< in proper terms, that door is weak and lightly constructed >
to save $$$ I'll add a plywood layer - its called lamination and glued and screwed should be stronger than original.
Unfortunately, there is every chance that I'll be ' glued and screwed ' as well, if this fix doesn't work.
But I've calculated that an exterior door and hardware could come in at + $ 100. Unless you buy a framed door which will be more
And the opening cannot be standard < nowadays > b/c the doors that are on sale are 80" high and this door is just over my head at 75 or so in
Custom door = custom price
So laminate it is

Thursday 3 October 2019

the Heat is On

officially its heating season
Thermostat is set for 70 F

It was 68 F upstairs and little hope of the sun warming the air thus I flicked the switch and voila we have heat

The project for today is a window in the side door of the garage. The neighbour and I leave our main garage door open even as night approaches. This results in phone calls and knocks at the door from the facing neighbours ( who kindly remind us to close the door ).
Thus, I put a window in the door such that if I can see street lights etc through the window from the study window the garage door is up .
I started w/ a 4 in wide plastic aquarium w/ one one convex side reasoning the double layer is insulation. However, very difficult to attach it to the door. This discovery came after the holes were cut being approximately 8 x 10 inches.
I found a small picture frame and took the glass
Voila it fits. Now, to fix the glass in place. Well, it worked out phenomenally well. The glass plate sits on a door strut that strengthens the door. Next a piece of wood strip is bolted across the top of the glass piece. And finally, I wedged a broom handle w/ shims across the glass at the bottom sitting on the same cross strut.

Along the way, I learned that the door in question is an interior door. It lacks the strength and insulation of a regular exterior door. Obviously, interior doors are cheaper - as in 1/2 the price. However, the door goes into the garage not the house thus a minor security problem - I mean that someone can steal the garbage cans.
And thus all my worry about the window causing a security problem became mute when I realized anyone can just boot the door in.
Ah, such is my life
I will visually check to see if the garage door is open tonight ( or can I tell that the garage door is open - I'm assuming that I'll see light through the window from street lamps or cars passing )
We shall see said the Zen Master

Pouring rain right now. Started as a mist and got mistier and then rain. Approximately 60 F out there

Slept Well

some title there

But took NeoCitran, apple cider and cinnamon, managed 11P to 6:30 A str8 through

Victory. And I feel upteen times better

Project: put a window or view panel in the garage side door
Why ? b/c I leave the garage door open
W/ a viewer of some kind < mirror on the corner or vision panel / porthole through the door then I can tell if street light is showing thus garage door is up

And do it at low cost
A porthole costs $90 on Amazon or Ebay

Records Were Set or Tied

for warmest ever Oc 1
and maybe warmest ever Oc day

My doctor aged out and I went looking for a replacement.
However, M s doctor is adding me

Actually, T.O. has a good supply of doctors - relatively speaking
However I did luck out

Apparently, she is a nice lady. Their office is adjacent to a plaza, thus free parking, all over.

The day got so warm that I changed to shorts. But the warm and humidity brought thunderstorms - kaboom

I've been binge watching Penn and Teller. Moslty, its their show ' Fool Us ' produced from the Penn and Teller Theatre in the Rio Hotel and Casino.
