The format is very sane. We pay for chips. Everyone buys the same amount. If you go broke then you still get to play. If you get chips back w/ a win then you must bet those chips as before you went broke.
The most that you can lose is the initial money that you issued.
The host provides food and drink < usually costing more than you could win in the night >
