The latest that I saw " Milwaukee Forge " , an ironsmith reality show. The intro lauds the hand made tradition of Milwaukee , beer , steel etc.
The didn't mention shooting which got Old Milwalky in the news , this week.

On a Gray.............
..... day , after some overnight sprinkles
I decided to soak the lawn( s ). Got the front done and then .........
going to the back yard , found that I had broken the rotating sprinkler ?????????????????? Dunno
As well , I managed to destroy the Magic Flexi-hose that is ultra light and etc . etc
The fittings suck !!!!!!!! thats where the leak was
The brown carpet will appreciate the water
The day is muggy and close , not overly hot but humid
Heavy overcast and threatening appearance
Go Forth and enjoy the moment
Feel the fresh air on your face
and the sweat , trickling down your shirt

It rained all day , gushed and gushed

The weather is a ' sticking ' point , really. Muggy for sure. If , though , the weather dudes have got it right - we'll cool off later this day. Rain , ahhh ! , there's the rub , kinda iffy , showers and thunder , maybe but that might be all.
OK , already , we have the Olympic fever ! Its getting exciting.
Despite our ( my ) doubts about the Olympic structure and hegemony , we were cheering last night.

Data shows that high decibel readings can affect your taste buds.
people showed an inclination for slightly salty over sweet in tests. In fact Lufthansa airlines has records that show customers consume as much tomato juice as beer on flights.

its "coming around again

Project Op Osm , where I decided to get fit or you can read less fat , here .
I'm still ellipticking , pretty much daily. I've altered the routine on weight days by leaving out hand weight punch ups ( hurts my wrist ).
My weight fluctuates from 170 - 172. Consciously , I can manage my ups and downs by a) cutting out snacks at night
b) selectively omitting carbs esp bread
My observations say , that Chinese food or more precisely which les mets Chinois ( Fr. ) I like / or the amount of what I like , seems to be an instant weight gainer.
Overall , though this 170 lb is pretty easy to maintain
BTW ,I'M SITTING USING A LAP TRAY AND TYPING AWAY IN THE LIVING ROOM ON THE ' TRAVELLER ' or baby laptop

I've re - read WW from yesterday and can now add. Goat cheese is better for you than cow cheese. More vitamins and calcium. And white wine has been shown to promote weight loss comparatively w/ people consuming the same calories.
Hilary is leading Trumpudo in the polls.
Its raining cats and alligators in Florida.
The ' Traveller '. Yes , I've lauded the changes in the baby laptop already. BUT
its soooo much faster and easier to use.

El Cheapo strikes again
Really though , I was all set to buy a $1 300 laptop. Same weight as Traveller , larger memory and faster processor and WINDOWS 10 pre - loaded. The new unit would have been lightening quick.
however , I honestly feel uncomfortable when the machine is faster or smarter than me.
thus , Traveller suits me , just peachy fine

a Forgotten Phone
...... mine , not yours
I guffaw as I see people glued to their phone. I often say to myself , ' I'm not my phone ' , meaning I'm more than a cell phone # .
In the series that I'm listening to , on the 'buds , the Italians call the cell phone a ' telephonino ' or baby phone..... cute , eh ?
Well , this trip to the 'Q , I left my telephonino at home. And not on purpose.
Should have known , right away , b/c the GPS failed to Blu tooth connect to the phone ( that wasn't there ).
The next day , on the way home , we discovered 2 messages - both from people trying to catch us up on the 'bee.
figures , right ?
Not laughing , now , are we ?
Weather : will heat up to -day , and for 3 more days. The , next cool down is on the week end.
We'll hibernate

At the drug mart , I bought the latest issue of ' Woman's World '
at a cost of $ 2.39.

a ' Plug ' for E Tec
... my outboard motor brand
Despite a sore wrist and help from M , got the last spark plug changed. No real problems except hand unscrewing one bolt
and dropping a rubber washer twice ( of course ,the washer is black and the wires and engine is black ) and fishing the sucker out w/ a coat hangar.
Ran the boat as well
Sounded a little rough idling but the shake out cruise seemed to get the kinks worked out
The electronic program on the motor self adjusts each cylinder mechanism - sort of buffers itself out - to compensate for the dummy putting in the plugs
At the end , ran pretty smooth
Not too hot to - day but high UV and it gets warm to - morrow and Wed.
