Drugged up on Tylenol and Advil and made it through the night
The instructions , specifically said ' keep tongue and fingers away from the hole formed when the tooth was removed.'
Right , like that was going to happen

My explorations reveal a gaping hole back there on the upper right.
Not much blood
and to - day I can lightly rinse and brush the left side of the mouth

What is scary was the warning ' do not blow your nose forcefully '
Why you ask ?  ( aren't you curious ????? )
B/c in some cases the floor of the sinus cavity above the tooth that was pulled may be very close to the new opening ( where tooth is gone )
Yepper ,you could blast a hole from the sinus cavity through to your mouth
My imagination can only take me so far 
but .....................  Eek !

And guess who quite often blows his nose too hard

The story from here or round about

In Fla , I fought a sore tooth for approx 2 weeks. Drank whiskey and used mouth type pain killer. Finally , someone saw me touching the tooth and said ' oh , you cracked a filling too ! '
Thats when I bought the paste type pain killer and layered it on the tooth.
Made it home , to safety.
The dentist , put in a temporary filling
The most likely outcome was that the tooth was cracked not the filling and in time .......... 2 days , 2 weeks , 2 months but eventually the tooth would reveal itself

TO - DAY , was the ending. After lunch , felt around at the back there
Oops ! something is gone. The filling ?
Got in to see Dr P and he says ' cracked tooth , the back of the tooth wall is gone '
He prepares me mentally for the pain and discomfort b/c there is very little to grab and it is an awkward removal site.
Wiggle , wiggle and pressure up the wazoo - its out
You'll bleed a while and don't eat on that side

The thought process , in a fictional story , a grad student - lover of a professor kills him but leaves a fingerprint in the condo. 
I come up w/  ' that will never happen to me ( leaving the print ) b/c I wear gloves a lot '. M has noticed and commented , many times.

Yes , I ' collect gloves ' if the gloves are different or on sale - its a no - brainer , bought. Especially , gloves that are thin and flexible or padded for work etc. My winter gloves are thin and stretchy.
Once at a check out for the grocery store , a woman behind me said " I saw what you did , you put your gloved hand in your pocket and brought out coins.  Where do you get gloves like that ? "

A constant danger is that I will buy a coat.   How many do you have ? I probably , can come up 15 at any one time.
Usually , I'm standing there at the rack going ' hey , could be good for fishing or it looks different ' - happens all the time.

However , I come by this fault , honestly. My father was the same way. " Oh , Dad , you've got a new jacket "
My brother 's response was to steal one of Dad's other coats.

Revenge , I still wear my brother's school jacket from where he taught. And its got to be , 25 yrs old b/c he's been dead 20 yrs

and its cold , our temperature will fall 15 F in a 6 hr window

For 2 days now , we have been treated to a sound extravagaza
ice sliding off our steel roof
it begins w/ a low rumble that builds in frequency and then whoosh - ice shards fly off
I went out and used a long pole to dislodge a lot of ice
this was after using a pilates ball to try and softly dislodge the ice

The backyard looks as though someone smashed a window and tossed it out back

We must have missed this scenario in the advertisement for steel rooves ( ? )
