The room was a girl's bedroom done in violet or purple, transformed into my workroom / hoarder stash and equipment storage.

Then the water came through the walls. The underlay and wall to wall braided-look rug went bye-bye. The walls are now white w/ a touch of shadow showing through.
But it is my workroom, thus imperfections are satisfactory.

You worry about how the white will look - will the white cover the purple ?
Pah ! Its so bloody dark in there, its hard to tell if its white or pale gray.
