Toronto is expanding its urban transport network ... the legend has it that there is a Cross Town subway hidden in plain sight
b/c you can not go anywhere fast on or near Eglinton Av.
kinda a worrisome growth on the landscape
surprise ! almost a decade late and over budget like my shopping at Giant Tiger
a friend who left T.O. to work in Alberta, commented that when he started his job in Edmonton, CrossTown construction was a headline news item
he's back and has to avoid Eglinton [ six blocks S of his home ]
he is not chuckling anymore
