The weather people are mentioning the humidex. Yes, its always there and is included daily but now the number gets a special nod.
And, of course, the A/C is running a bit more. As well, b/c we have an open stairwell, last year, I started aiming a box fan across the stair opening.
The thought was to create an air barrier across the gap.
Thus, keeping the cooler air ( actually, that would be ' the coldest air ' ) from sinking down the stairs.
At least, partially forced along the floor in the hall.
Does it work ?
Dunno but it must be cheaper than running the air conditioning ( if the hack actually works )
