Dunno. I ran errands for 4 h
I had finances to arrange - maybe, I should have created a GIC acct sooner. The interest isn't fantastic but better than nothing. We are invested heavily in stocks etc but balanced quite nicely w/ fixed income instruments.
For peace of mind, I wanted a Federally backed savings pool. Til now, it was savings accts but GIC pays a little better - and besides it gives our banking rep something to do.
The day had a grim feel to it - damp and cold. I still went out for Chinese food as a treat < treat of the week >
