we have struggled w/ Tracfone, US cell phone Co., recently, acquired by Verizon
our Moto G8 phones won't work on Tracfone, thus in JA 2023, M .. s phone wouldn't connect.
dilemma - buy a new phone in Fla or wait for Canada
we waited and bought a matching Pixel 6a to mine.
hoping that M .. s account was still live
plus we had purchased a service card for $20 [ a 3 month limit ]
success. M .. s phone connected and is good til June 2023
I got to use the 90 day card w/ an end date of July 2023
if only we could win downstairs
the downside to buying a US phone is that Canadian service providers will not repair an US purchased phone
