how much and when is the boat back from the shop. 

The verdict is in.

 the problem was that someone forgot to put lower gear case oil in

 and basically the prop was spinning dry

see lots of damage - we don't know how much the cost will be but it will be more than $2,000 for sure 

anyways that's life.

A little mistake
 and everybody then has to go through a lot of effort to get the boat to the marina and the mechanic

 so just said really sad
