meaning skill only gets you so far
in the end, luck is going to swing the play

we got caught in a brief but severe downpour w/ winds that had the trees going sideways

I ran out and diverted runoff away from my baby sinkhole [ see previous ] and a minor overflow in the rainbarrel out back

THEN you hear that 45 000 were drenched at the ballgame w/ the dome open [ we are not the only surprise recipients ]

Further. I made the decision to ' grass over ' that area of interlock that is on the East margin of the driveway. Approx. 5 ft wide and 60 ft long

What will this do ' in terms of sinking in the interlock area '
jury is out, on that.
best scenario, if sinking continues [ please, no ] perhaps it will be easier to deal w/ the problem of sinking if there is no stone on top.
At least grass / soil is easier to replace and / or fill in [ pray hard ]

The ' grass over ' will entail removing 50 ft of curb stone.  Likely, 300 interlock paver bricks, a truckload of limestone screenings and ???? 

THEN bring in a truckload of topsoil and corresponding sod
