.... and getting caught
We snuck in on Mon afternoon , congratulating ourselves for beating the storm. We were in Salamanca , NY , warm in the casino .................... and up north in buffalo , well , Mommy Nature showed why they should never have built a city there ........... parking lot , yes , city , NO.
And now , try and get north past Buffalo
5 nights later , we escaped
Why didn't I blog ??? Definitely , didn't wan't to talk about the situation , in case it got worse , while I was blogging
The gods of craps were not good to me. I'm living proof on why you shouldn't gamble. I was up ( yes , up ) Fri night. Now lets be clear , I did nothing but take in money. A guy up the table , shot lights out - incredible run. He managed to make 30 points and average might be 3 for everyone else.
If I had been braver , well .......................
On the news , they interviewed people trapped in Hamburg , NY in a Walmart. They said , ' Greatest place to get trapped ' , NO , we had it better , all in all.
The casino compted us for 4 nights. We probably used up all the Can - Am good will in the world.
In all that time , we saw snow overnight Thurs , and they crews cleared the roads by Fri morning
