Well ,no need to worry here ,  this blog is so sketchy , it makes you wonder.
Driving home from the Southern Tier , Saturday , NPR had an item on the ' Desert Bus '. I imagine that the show is an on line event.
The premise : you pay to ' drive ' a bus for 12 h , the money supports a charity or some such. Theoretically , you go from Tucson to Las Vegas ( or wherever is 12 h away).
A boring drive , made better ( ? ) by raffles , trivia contests etc.
You win if your time is good and you're accident free.

We drove home from Salamanca , NY accident free and in under 12 h ( although , had we driven to Detroit ?????? )
Oh , I didn't tell you. On our first morning in the cafe, I overheard ( eavesdropped ?? ) as a couple discussed their plans.
You bet , heard the word Detroit.
I asked them , if I'd heard correctly. Yes ,from southern NY they would drive 7- 9 hrs to reach Detroit and then 3 1/2h home to Hamilton ( W of T.O.)
We immediately ,said , NO , no way for us.
A day later and Detroit seemed a possibility. Faint , but OMG , we thought long and hard.
As well , I plotted a route , further East , to Syracuse and then the Thousand Is bridge. Checking the weather , Fort Drum ( L Ont shore ) had a white out and Syracuse was due for a snow blast the next day.
We stayed. and Played and  Lost
We didn't do the ' Snow Bus ' video
