The week end has arrived and the heat is back. Our temperatures go above normal and comes w/ humidity. We expect stretches of HH weather. We can get 3 , 4 - 5 day runs of uncomfortable HH each year. Last year , memory seems to say that we had 1 , 3 - day spell of HH. tending to the dry side.

I hosted a poker game , last night. The tally , spent $ 90 on food etc and won $ 25.
The PanAm games are here in T.O. , T.O.- tonions have caught the excitement. Attendance for most events is good to great. Canada has led and is leading the medal haul w/ the U.S. second and close

The day was hot but not a ' heat alert ' kind of day.
The World by the #s , focused on military spending. I gave up trying to understand the amounts. Basically , you could feed the undernourished people of the world on the U.S. military budget.
Buns not tanks was the motto of the page.
Fat chance !!! those old men love their bombs and metal.
