The second day of pond fishing - I've got none and watched 3 largemouth get caught

On the positive side , the re - configured or repurposed rod ( the bastard ) casts efficiently. Long casts are normal and overall a smooth action.
Unfortunately , no fish to test the backbone of the rod
We shall see said the Zen Master !
