If Amazon takes over the world - we here are responsible
Speaking of Amazon, you weren't and don't care. I ordered a pair of Luenx sunglasses < polarized > for 17 dollars. Fit was great and comfortable like you wouldn't believe. My face is Asian and slightly flat. Without an adjustable nose piece, the glasses sit on my upper cheek. Alright for some minutes, painful at an hour. These Luenx are beauts. OK dummy - pay a little more and get real sunglasses.
Except. Sunglasses for me are like socks - ' Oh, you lost a sock ' whats new. Experience. Bought a pair of prescription sunglasses ( $ 125 plus in say 1980 ) that lasted 1 week and had an anchor drop on them.
AN ANCHOR ! yep an anchor. The glasses got bent.
Back to the story. Inside the box w/ the sunglasses comes a soft carrying case < actually 2 b/c the wrapper is resealable and as good as any case > and a card.
" If you like these glasses, review us at Amazon and send the review and order no. We will offer you a second pair for your effort, free of charge " What a come on.
Except they did. The second pair < even better, called aviators - wider lens and lighter frame > arrived yesterday. Four days after they promised to ship the item.
Bonus !. And, yes there's more " If you like we will add your name to our promotion list. In the future we will ask you to receive and review new complimentary products "
I know, these glasses will give me cancer or something.
Fishing Monday and Tues. Same story, a few fish but largemouth are hitting. Not giants but interested in chasing a plastic worm. And I fought the wind again, both days.
By accident, I purchased an old of date bottle of beer. The Liquor Control board sold me the beer but I contacted the brewer who aksed for information on the purchase. He said that the Board would not take reponsibility. However, his company sent a promo gift.
To repay them, I ordered a beer delivery from them.
One of the beers was Vienna Lager. I liked it. I thought of the name Vienna and sent the following
