Nobody tips here or 10 % if they think about it , they are not a tipping culture - hope they pay well ( not ).
So the Beemer, made some 550 km on 1/2 a tank ( diesel ) at 1.37 Pd / L. Or read $ 2.20 a litre here. The MPG gauge thingy read 45 - 50 all the way, I think its broke or on Beijing time.
Yesterday, the deal of the day, was 3 courses
at Lingfield Farm pub for 5.45 Pd. So a tad over $10 but trust me - we haven't seen cheaper
To-day we get chauffeured to York, a walled town. You park outside the city limits and a shuttle bus takes you into the city.
M is pleased that I'm not driving, yeah, those roundabouts are still a pain.
