Post Billy E. We ventured off to Norfolk and M's cousin and family. Travelling on M ways and A ways we crossed Essex into Norfolk. ( M are express designated roads, multi-lane and divided / A roads are two lane and 60 mph rated )
We were treated to Fish and Chips plus mushy peas ( a green veg ). Warm and convivial, were the watchwords of the day and night.
Second-cousin, Sue and hubby Peter put us up for the night.
Brekkies was a fry-up, yep all got fried - marvelous.
Walked to the local ( pub ) Mc Taggart House and the highlight was 'Woodforde's Wherry ', delightful ale.
We shot home and only winced when the road got narrower than the car. Kidding.
We are still exhausted - this must be older folks, jet lag - lag - lag.
