Rumer

no , not rumour  ' Rumer '

She is a singer and was on w/ Daryl Hall. Never heard of her , maybe but wouldn't know a song of hers
Rumer was excellent

Day is gray but promises to be 65 F by the aft
Rain is not likely for 3 days

We are raking on the ' bee to - day. Not the best timing , our trees down here in the ' Big smoke ' are still 60 % leafed.
Well ,I suppose its more tidying up.
So , we'll head up

The ' new ' season has begun for TV , as in ' Elementary ' , the Sherlock Holmes in modern NY city version.
Dr Watson is female and no longer practicing.
The segue is that the other modern SH , Benedict Cumberbatch is set to debut as a Marvel super hero , Dr Strange , on the big screen.

I grew up mesmerized by the comic , Dr Strange. DS was different
although it could be argued that most super powers required a fair degree of suspension of disbelief on the reader's part
I suspended quite nicely , thank you

The songtress , Sara Bareilles , was asked by the radio show ' This American Life ' out of PBS , NY , to put into song her feelings about donald t. The comments were supposed to be candid and not publish - able.

Weekly long range update

My interpretation of the latest ECMWF forecast model....
The model certainly has a warm look for the rest of November across the western two-thirds of the country as milder, Pacific air continues to infiltrate the region. One bit of news, it does look like there will be a reprieve from the stormy pattern across western BC during the week of the 14th-20th.
It is a little more tricky in the East as there will likely be some resistance with the northwesterly flow aloft. I believe the model is still a little too warm across southeast Canada and the eastern U.S., but with a lack of cross-polar flow and shrinking snow cover over northwest Canada and the northern Prairies the air masses that do come into the East from the northwest will be hard pressed to be all that cold.
Overall, November could end up being another top 5 warmest on record from the Prairies to the Yukon/Northwest Territories.
