however, ' Ryan Hall, Y'All ' the Youtube weatherologist, foretells a possible trend to a snow track that moves from West and Southwest toward the Great Lakes and onto the East Coast
these movements can be greatly affected by Northward push of moist Gulf air
and dips [ large and small ] of the Polar Jet stream

for us, lower Great Lakes Basin, it seems that Jan 6 then 10 then 16 hold possibility of a snow dump

dump meaning at least 1 or 2 inches
of course, elevation, proximity to water on the West side and influence of the dropping down of the  Jet stream will cause regional and local variations
