Easter Sun.

Weather , we are partly sunny and warmish expecting rain and cool to cold w/ the off-chance of snow Wed.

Tues. I take my aunt to get a Power of Attorney. She is single now and aging. She owns her own condo and drives but questions have arisen concerning this arrangement.
Long distance relatives are eager to see movement but T.O. relatives urge action ( BY SOMEONE ELSE of course. ) The son and daughter who live her are nonchalant about the whole thing and in almost total denial or lethargy.
Murky waters, murky waters. And thats not a song.

JHU is now 6 - 3 having lost in OT to NC. The upshot is that Hop comes across as an average team having a average year. The NCAA championship starts w/ a selection process that chooses 16 out of 63 teams for the play downs in late May.
JHU has lucked out ( or been favoured, according to non-Hop fans )and drawn a favourable seeding the last 4 years. The top eight ( meaning Hop ) play at home on the first week end.
So, JHU s chances of home field advantage are fading quickly. There are some scenarios that would work to Hop's advantage.. but very few. Most involve some form of divine inspiration or bolts out of the blue.
I would remind all that Fletcher Jones said " The scenario does not always work out the way one would like - for every dictum there is a contradiction. "
Fletcher Jones was an entrepreneur and race horse owner. His horse, Typecast was a speed horse and probably statistically favoured for the richest match race up to that time ( 1971, $250 000  at hollywood Pk ). Typecast couldn't close on Convenience.
FJ died in a plane crash about a year  later. his quote lives on.
