Big Wind

... is roaring through here not cold but strong
We have our own version of the ' big dig ' going on over the street.
So far ,the workers have dug a hole that stopped just shy of China
They created a smell like raw sewage which is what is causing the original problem. They have been there so long that they re painted the lane lines of the street.
Lately , they imported what I would call well tiles except instead of 3 ft across , these buggers are 30 something ft across. Fri , they left with these tiles sitting up approx 8 ft above grade. same thing this AM early - now the most easterly tile is sunk to grade and I guess the other one drops down next.
We knew that this would be an important day b/c 4 guys were standing around leaning on their shovels instead of the usual 2 or 3.
Checked right now and nothing has changed except that the crew are standing around their cars.

Weather: is all wind , roaring through here like nobodies business.
Temperature is close to irrelevant b/c the wind is dominant. Bright sun and blue sky though
