such is the way of life
Our front yard is adorned w/ a tulip tree. Its a love / hate relationship. It stands guard over the driveway but never was pretty. At least ours is not pretty.
Despite some trimming , much of it drastic , the tree was vastly overgrown on the west side.
So vastly overgrown that yesterday the bushy lop sided part fell down.
I cut loose the broken boughs and found 1 / 3 of a tree left.
Well , its all been hacked to pieces and dragged down to the ravine
A cute semi spherical tree remains.
Weather : we continue warm and slightly humid but are experiencing summer in September.

Re - purposing , is ' life hacking ' or so I've been watching on YouTube.
There are reams of ' life hacks ' on YT. Such as a toy cross bow
out of hair barrettes and Popsicle sticks.
