Ebola ( what again ) Yepper. countries are committing resources to help the gov'ts of W Africa. You should be aware that the gov'ts in question have not committed much. They really have been behind in coping. The heavy lifting was done by NGO s , Medecin Sans Frontier etc.
There is a possibility that as this outbreak peaks and it not any where close to that point , that these economies will collapse. The gov'ts did not commit funds or resources at the beginning and fell behind the curve ... way behind the curve.
By poll , Americans have a good opinion of Canada and Canadians.
We in Canada , are often compared to the mouse sharing a bed w/ an elephant. Even when the elephant is careful the mouse needs to watch out.

I watched a 2001 ??? or so TV special on DVD , called ' Gods and Generals ' , a prequel to ' Gettysburg '. G& G focuses on the leadership of the the Union and CSA , a personal look.
The main character was Thomas Jackson. Enjoyable. Especially , after I cleaned the DVD ( bought used ). Pre - cleaning , the playback paused and jumped around. I guess cleanliness is close to godliness.
Mah Jhonng has reached epidemic proportions here. The game is interfering w/ sleep and our psyches. Get a life ,you two.
