For the S of the GWN readers , you'll be shocked
Calgary experienced a rare event , 5 murders at one site. These deaths were stabbings and the victims friends and all 20 - somethings
For Canadians , this represents a vast departure from our view of crime , it doesn't happen here , like this.
In T.O. , last year , 38 deaths by stabbing / 3.2 million people. Calgary is probably 800,000.
The alleged assailant was a friend as well and son of a veteran police upper management
Weather : grey and warm w/ precipitation coming , dribs and drabs to a good soaking
Bad news for several places E of here , rivers are peaking w/ melt and rain

I've got to tell you , this new Pope is changing my mind about the Roamn Catholic church. My guess is , he isn't all the popular all around the Vatican. Too moral , I think , he cares
