On the trip through Buffalo, 2 transport trucks went left and then right [real quick ] and the white car in front of me went right and then right again - while I was going left  [ saw the crashed car and police cruiser ] then tried right - all the time, I'm watching a trailing car go right too ! 

It ends up w/ the white car, me and the follower - like pick up sticks but everyone did stop and slide by

Holey Kamoley Batman ! what were the mass of cars that we saw coming behind, going to do .... this is Eek ! time

the axiom is - any landing that you walk away from is good

tonight, NatGeo is airing specials on the events of September 11, 2001
A) we've seen the twin towers fall w/ the stories
B) 200 + planes are landing at Gander and at 6 other Cdn airports.

and in net result - 36 wide body jets land in Gander in 4 h. Gander's normal flight load is 7.

and another whole special has focussed on a town of 2200 people taking in 3000 passengers - shower then food and a bed for three days
that was Gander, Nfld.
