From Brett Anderson, Accuweather blog

5. I expect a general 8-15 cm of snow across most of southern Ontario and 7-12 cm over southern Quebec Sunday night and Monday. The snow might mix with rain early Monday in places closes to the lakes such as Hamilton and downtown Toronto, but not before there is a decent accumulation of snow.
6. Longer range forecast models are trending toward a longer period of cold weather across much of the country with less flow off the Pacific than what they showed a few days ago. Clearly, the worst of the cold will move out after Dec. 18, but the period through Dec. 22 still looks colder than normal for a large part of southern Canada. Areas from Manitoba through Ontario may see temperatures back to normal or slightly above around the Christmas holiday, but there is still plenty of uncertainty with that.

7. So based on what we are seeing over the next two weeks, I would say that the probabilities for a white Christmas are higher than normal for a majority of southern Canada.
