Follow up. The fish cooperated and fell for my standard stickbait routine. Toss a plastic worm / stick up against fallen trees, rocks and dark places at the bank. Often, an unforgiving tree or stump refuses to give back the stickbait [ you break off the line and re - tie ]. I hit or rather threw over top of three tree like objects but managed to get the plastic back. That is a good ratio. Sometimes, I'll lose 4 or 5 rigs to a bush, tree or stump and sometimes who knows what snages your line
