Paranoia 101

The attic is vented. The new guy whose going to help w/ the soffits, needed me to check to make sure that there are openings under the vents on the roof. He said, you wouldn't believe the number of times, he finds vents w/ no openings into the roof. This means vents that open onto the roof boards not the attic.
I'm OK.
Now, we negotiate how much and when.

If you own a home, you are probably in touch w/ the problems that arise when you start to do something.

Vent. Yes.  Does the steel door to the attic open. NO. Well if you're standing on the ladder and throw your weight against the top of the door and turn the screw head real quick. This procedure is tres dangereuse.

After surveying the attic. Check. I decided to see about the door. Tried 2 different methods. In the end, a roll of tar paper was jammed against the door and the edges got duct taped.

If your Canadian, duct tape is the ' go to ' for repairs. Naturally, a better solution is needed. But I bought myself some time.
Hopefully, the raccoons and squirrels can't peel back duct tape ( and move tar paper rolls ).

Last night, on PRI via CBC the topic was the Internet and censorship.
First, several years ago, 4 countries were known to censor the internet. The recent survey showed 40 countries, actively censoring for rebellion, political intrigue etc.. China, of course, but also India.
If you have universal paranoia, guess what you're right. The internet is open to abuse and is abused.
The expert dude talked about internet servers where information is deleted, so 2 write-ups could be different. He was discussing deletion but naturally erroneous entries are possible.

Please recall that you should read stuff here and be ready for corrections. The info is mostly true here, it just needs some tweaking.

I'm free-styling information from the radio as I listen at night. Get it ' free-styling ' pretty neat, eh ? Great expression.

This blog is sort of like poker sites on the internet ,for enjoyment only. The Truth is flexible, real flexible.
