Well, as January comes to an end, perhaps stock taking is in order.

Events : I updated some photos in a picture frame. This collage was family photos. I added some really old ones.

Then ' kaboom ' 5 days later, the whole frame falls off the wall. The nail is still there. The support on the back of the frame assembly is cardboard and a tab sticks out to catch the nail. Something about ' the kingdom lost b/c of a nail ' or the horse or the shoe OR the cardboard tab, comes to mind

PBS is running a series called ' Vienna Blood '. A crime - suspense show involving a police inspector and a psychiatrist in early 1900 s Vienna. The team is a fore runner of the Behavioral Analysis Unit. Despite the gruesome nature of the crimes and events, the two manage a humourous sort of banter. Not bad TV as compared to most of the flotsam on the ' boob Tube '
