the Chromebook was hooked to a dock. the TV by HDMI was attached to the dock. an optical keyboard and mouse was plugged into the dock. and power was needed, so the dock was power through from the power cable for the Chromebook.
Why ?
Well, there is a track pad on the Chromebook but the Chromebook was 4 ft away from me on a stool. The HDMI was three ft from the TV when it attached to the dock.
So, I was manipulating the mouse and typing 7 or 8 ft from the TV w/ the Chromebook on a little stool in front of the TV. The keyboard allowed me to enter searches without having to ' hunt and click ' the remote, a letter at a time. And I watched a 46 in display of the laptop mirrored on the TV.
Complicated ? Actually, all I saw or noticed was the keyboard and mouse as I navigated the Chromebook.
E Z P Z and effortless
The weather numbers are not impressive at 22 F but from here on in for 6 days, we will see 30 or slightly more - but unsettled conditions remain. Sun and melting will occur starting Monday.
Roads will be slushy in daylight hours and freeze at night. Run off will be a problem
